I wouldn’t rely on Morpholio Trace for final drafting; I’m not yet fully confident in its precision, and it doesn’t replace the accuracy of advanced modeling or CAD programs. But it does fill a helpful gap between thinking and producing, where quick clarity matters more than perfection. Morpholio Trace is often compared to Procreate because both apps let you sketch freely, but their purposes are very different. Procreate is a general creative tool, while Morpholio is built specifically for architecture, landscape, interior design, and construction. Its ability to scale drawings accurately and add real dimensions gives it a clear advantage for plan-based work. Still, its strengths show up most in quick sketches, floor-plan brainstorming, and adding light perspective or aesthetic notes to sections and elevations. It works best when treated as endless digital trace paper rather than a complete drafting platform. One of its biggest benefits is portability: with an iPad, you don’t need to carry a heavy laptop or load large programs just to explore an idea. It’s ideal for studying in a café, sketching while commuting, or using those small pockets of time that would otherwise slip away.
