SUMMARY:

Aino analyses site conditions, demographics, and environment. In the process, it creates 2D graphical diagrams that can be exported for later editing. There is a limited free version. It is probably the best one here.  Rhino3D Grasshopper with Raven + Ladybug uses Raven as a text prompt that generates commands for design. It is hard to learn though and requires an intermediate knowledge of grasshopper. Archistar is a site analysis tool that automates plans while checking for permits with AI. It reports, audits, and does finances to reduce submittals and review times. It can also check codes for zoning but is not really a good tool for students.  Giraffe is similar to Archistar, but it’s not free and not generative with its design. Both Archistar and Giraffe are great for early design and analysis of a project, but their price, accessibility, and features are currently lacking for students to use.
