Lumion
Bring your designs to life in seconds; with Lumion, transforming 3D models into stunning, realistic visuals is as simple as drag, drop, and render.
Lumion is strongest in the visualization stage, where it turns models from programs like Revit or Rhino into realistic real time renders. On its own, it already produces high quality images with solid lighting, materials, and environmental effects. Its AI features are more subtle and do not rebuild the image. They mainly refine it by cleaning up lighting, atmosphere, and small details. This makes presentations easier, since designers can quickly adjust scenery, materials, and mood, and use LiveSync to iterate smoothly during client meetings or design reviews.
Lumion is fast and user-friendly but lacks the realism of engines. Its assets can look repetitive, it needs powerful hardware, and offers limited customization—better for quick visuals than high-end renders.

Lumion: Objective Review for
Architecture Studio
Custom Tutorial / Objective Review
Lumion supports studio work by helping students turn Rhino, Revit, or SketchUp models into clear visualizations. It is most useful for setting up materials, adjusting lighting and atmosphere, and producing quick renders or walk-throughs for midterm and final reviews.
Helpful Notes About Lumion’s AI
AI does not create the render. It only refines it.
It mainly cleans up lighting, shadows, reflections, and atmosphere.
It speeds up the workflow but all design choices still come from you.
