Snaptrude is a powerful all in one, one stop web-based workspace with a lot of potential. Generate options in AI Mode, refine in Design, organize in Program, build in BIM, and showcase in Presentation.

What it does well:

• From prompt to program fast. Paste a brief and site, and it generates program tables, space blocks, stacking, and diagrams you can edit.

• Sketch → BIM in one place. One click converts masses/spaces into BIM elements; stays editable.
•  

• Works in a browser. Easy to share. No installs, good for quick team reviews and boards.
•  

• Revit/Rhino pipeline. Designed for concepts in Snaptrude and documentation in Revit.  Exports keep fidelity and families.
•  

• Built in early analysis & “Present Mode.” Program/area views, quick daylight/luminance snapshots, and board creation streamline crit decks.
•  

Where it’s weaker

• Early stage focus by design. It targets concept and program; you’ll still move to Revit for CDs and detailed coordination.

• Ugly diagrams! The autogenerated diagrams are too simple (circles, rectangles, and basic arrows) but contain good information, just need to make it more visually interesting in Illustrator or Photoshop.

• AI limits. The current workflow can’t “re-prompt” geometry/story edits mid run, no pause, spreadsheets in RFPs have limits. Expect manual QC.

• Code zoning is guidance, not gospel. It’s “code aware,” but you must verify local zoning and building code yourself.
